Shakira Gamble . . .

Her name is Shakira Vanise Gamble (sometimes accredited as Kira Gamble). She was born in Staten Island, raised in Houston , educated in Atlanta , and now dreaming big in Los Angeles . She studied Theatre Arts for roughly 16 yrs. across this country, and some time ago decided to pursue the craft of acting full time. She's not just the girl-next-door, she considers herself to be a true thespian ranging in character and depth. You might have seen her intense debut on “X Files” or caught her moment to shine on “Smart Guy.” In addition to television, she briefly appeared in the Fox Searchlight Film “ Never Die Alone” along side DMX and David Arquette. But if you can't seem to catch her on the silver screen, then be  sure   to take notice of her national campaign advertisement for “ Pepsi…the cola of choice.” (summer 2005) Currently she seeks representation that will help her challenge the norm by highlighting her talent beyond the average scope of possibilities. She has a solid trust in her capabilities to one day represent a myriad of characters who are atypical, edgy, and thoughtful.

Additionally, she knows that her direction in life is properly guided by a higher force that protects, sustains, and encourages her steps toward success and peace. In saying that, she plans to establish a marketable image for herself and use it as a spring board toward bringing consciousness to various non-profit & charitable organizations, and to soon start one of her own. In addition to cultivating her image and social awareness, she also holds both a wise soul and inner child consciousness which enables me to absorb and reflect a range of personas across a large spectrum. Gregory Berger-Sobek (instructor from the Yale School of Drama) eloquently described her talent by saying “… she balances comedy, fear, love and action by painting a story book world in rich, deeply saturated, and magical images!”
